Gigi’s ultimate goal? To revolutionize the collective conversations on fashion, somatic & sexual wellness, gender, and race with her experimental interdisciplinary work with The B*A*P* Boudoir. It is both her purpose and pleasure to demonstrate how the sensual human experience leads to a sustainably built future. Witness her application of arousal in real time, here in the #RadicallySexy realm.
The #RadicallySexy praxis honors the body as a primary site of power, protest, and play. It can be seen within her nightlife performances as a locally celebrated burlesque artist, emotive free-prose, somatic confidence coaching syllabi, and visual storytelling portfolio as a creative directOR.
Since then, her work has focused on exploring how the SUBVERSION of sexuality, spirituality, and style act as portals of liberation within marginalized communities, transforming trauma into testimony, resistance into ritual, and arousal into autonomy, birthing the #RadicallySexy philosophy.
Gigi graduated with highest honors from the Bard College Art History & Visual Culture department in 2022. Her research-grant-receiving senior thesis “Growing in Glamour” dove into the unsung histories of how Black-American women utilized dress and portraiture as a tool for self-actualization post-Reconstruction era.
Philly native with a Texas twang, New York edge, and passport full of perspective — Gigi Penn (she/they) is a Black American Princess (B*A*P*) on her way to becoming a global muse. Gigi proudly bears this crown not just to honor the history of their lineage, but to usher in a new era of sensual sovereignty as means of communal decolonization.
